Business Development Manager

Responsibilities include:

  • initiating, driving and closing opportunities with content providers and our expanding network of affiliate distribution partners.
  • Will have primary responsibility for initial business development, financial modelling, and deal structuring.
  • Able to work closely with legal to lead negotiations, as well as head all non-technical due diligence efforts.
  • Develop and execute business and account plans for each partner.
  • Prior experience as business development executive in software/computer industry or with a company involved with the wireless industry or outsourcing/consulting firm.
  • Priority will be given to candidates with substantial board level negotiation experience.

Qualifications:

  • Financial or venture experience in negotiating and structuring of deals
  • Dealmaker with ability to act as principal and negotiator for licensing of the Goalslive platform
  • Demonstrated success in business development and sales positions
  • Experience in negotiating business relationships that rely on value exchange, revenue sharing, Internet advertising, etc.
  • High energy level, ability to initiate and drive opportunities
  • Proven track record in managing multiple opportunities and ability to negotiate & close complex deals
  • Strong communication skills: verbal, written and interpersonal
  • Innovation and leadership by example are highly desirable
  • Ability to determine strategy and tactical plans that deliver tangible results
  • Strong knowledge and experience in the Communications, Wireless, Portal, Internet, Service industries
  • Success in a start-up environment; ability to thrive in a very dynamic workplace
  • BA/MA desirable

Job's main responsibilities:

  • Organizing meetings
  • Contacts to our clients and our staff in general
  • Development of reports on sales and marketing analysis

Candidate profile requirements:

  • Knowledge of bookmaking and pre-existing contacts to bookmakers
  • Experience in sales and marketing
  • Fluency in English - written and spoken - and knowledge of at least one other European language
  • Experience in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Detailed knowledge of our products
  • Dedicated to and enthusiastic about sports and gaming in general
